Special armor-steel plating has been integrated into the structure of the car in critical areas.
Composite Security Glass
Made of several layers including an inner polycarbonate sheet, the window glass is designed to resist handgun-projectiles up to and including .44 Magnum caliber, and its polycarbonate layer helps absorb dangerous glass splinters. Designed also for minimal distortion, the glass looks ordinary from the outside and inside.
Overlapping System
To help make even critical zones safer, the meticulously tested overlapping system at all four doors is designed to substantially reduce the possibility of bullets passing through the door and window seams and into the passenger compartment.
Self-sealing Fuel Tank
If this optional fuel tank is punctured, a special exterior coating on the tank, designed to reseal the hole caused by splinters in seconds, is automatically activated.
Enhanced Suspension
The suspension, springs and shock absorbers on the vehicles are tuned and the rear axle is made with reinforced steel to maintain ride comfort despite the added weight of the armor.
