William McGuire’s security leadership spotlights executive protection, emergency management and special operations services, bringing over twenty years experience to all dimensions of the industry.
With a strong foundation in state-of-the-art ground and air security as Vice President of Virgin Security Services in North America, Mr. McGuire was inspired to form Global Security Associates in 2002. The exponential success of Global Security Associates in an increasingly demanding environment led to the development of the Global Elite Group in 2009, to distribute the expanding security services in the areas of emergency management, corporate contingency consulting and planning, V.I.P. and dignitary protection services, event security, K9 detection units, crowd control and asset protection.
Global Elite Group, headquartered in Garden City, NY upholds four major security service divisions focusing on physical security services, emergency management, consulting services and aviation management. Mr. McGuire is an active leader in the security industry and currently serves as President of the Long Island Chapter of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s InfraGard, subsequent to his service as the organization’s executive Vice President. The Long Island Chapter is headquartered at the Morrelly Homeland Security Center in Bethpage, Long Island. InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector, comprised of businesses, academic institutions, and state and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
Mr. McGuire’s efforts in the security industry have been recognized by Government Security News in 2009 with a disaster preparedness award for work with a healthcare facility to protect the lives of hospital personnel, patients and property after Hurricane Gustav and Ike. Global Elite Group was recognized the following year by Government Security News with a guard service award for its exceptional work in event security for a major Fortune 100 corporation. Mr. McGuire has been personally awarded two International Counter Terrorism Awards, and has been a Long Island volunteer fireman for over 22 years.
As Executive Vice President of Global Elite Group, Victor Anderes is responsible for development and implementation of large scale projects across a broad spectrum of operational areas. In addition to overseeing day-to-day service for our aviation security and management clients, Mr. Anderes is in charge of international business development and operations.
As an experienced corporate emergency response and security executive, Mr. Anderes has over 25 years of combined experience in security management, risk management, crisis management and regulatory compliance. After serving in the military and working in diplomatic security, Mr. Anderes held positions with Virgin Atlantic Airways, as well as United and American Airlines.
As a consultant for Global Elite Group, Mr. Anderes has undertaken numerous high-risk security consulting projects in the U.S., Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. In addition to his work in aviation security, he has experience in the maritime, healthcare, education and energy sectors.
Leonard Bonventre joined the Global staff in 2007 and is responsible for the administrative and financial management of the company. Mr. Bonventre brings over 15 years of financial management and customer service experience to the team, as well as nine years of emergency response experience.
Prior to joining Global Security Associates, Mr. Bonventre held management positions with banking giants such as Citicorp and Bank of America. Throughout his career, he has consistently been a top performer while delivering superior customer service. As a result of his performance, he has received numerous achievement and customer satisfaction awards. Because of his values and strong work ethic, Mr. Bonventre has often been chosen to lead focus groups and committees to improve efficiency and productivity in the workplace.
Mr. Bonventre holds a B.S. from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
As the Senior Vice President for Global Elite Group, Phil Cain is responsible for delivering consistent and high-quality operating performance across all divisions and throughout the broad range of security services our company has to offer.
Prior to joining Global Elite Group, Phil spent 25 years in the aviation industry with a leading international carrier in various management roles across several continents. He has considerable experience and an exceptional record in the areas of safety and security, compliance, customer service delivery, project management, airport community relations and providing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Within Global Elite Group, Phil leads a talented, knowledgeable and experienced group of department heads and ensures that we all keep safety and our unique service proposition at the forefront of all we do.
As Vice President of Operations for Global Security Associates' Aviation Security Division, Lucia Oswald is responsible for aviation security services and international customer service programs at all of our domestic stations (including JFK, LAX, MIA, IAH, IAD, DFW, EWR and SEA).
With over thirty years of distinguished service in the aviation industry, Ms. Oswald has extensive airport operations and airline customer service experience. She has served as General Manager and Director for airlines both in the U.S. and abroad, including Maxjet Airways, Jet Airways of India, Spirit Airlines and Trans World Airlines. She served as Executive Board Member of several Airport Operators Committees and held memberships in airport sub-committees on security while working in Europe.
Her extensive experience in all aspects of airline ground operations, security regulatory compliance and customer service is a great asset in the expansion and growth of our aviation services.
Ms. Oswald's role as Director of Operations involves working closely with aviation security clients to expand and enhance service offerings in passenger verification services, aircraft search, ramp guarding, escorting and catering security. Her wealth of knowledge and experience with domestic and multicultural airline relations is invaluable in the ever-changing world of aviation security.
Mr. Swain has spent his career in operational roles in airline operations, aviation security, business continuity and emergency planning with a major United Kingdom airline. He rewrote the airline's corporate emergency procedures manual, covering all subjects relating to a company response. He has commanded the airline's response to a myriad of crises and he appreciates the need for understanding and flexibility when dealing with different cultures around the world. Mr. Swain naturally has a “safety first” mentality and fully believes safety and security can be delivered with a high level of customer service.
Joseph R. Nadolny has been with Global Security since 2006. Prior to becoming Director of QA & Training in 2008, he served as Manager of Human Resources & Administration, where was responsible for all HR functions of the organization during its rapid growth.
Mr. Nadolny’s responsibilities include oversight of all new hires and refresher training for all employees across all business units. In addition, he is responsible for conducting quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and company policies.
Joe is also a 15 year veteran of the Garden City Volunteer Fire Department currently serving as Assistant Chief. He has taken numerous emergency service training courses including National Incident Management System courses ICS-300 Intermediate Incident Command System & ICS 400 – Advanced Incident Command System. In addition, Joe is a National Safety Council Certified Instructor in CPR, First Aid & AED. Joe currently serves as the Fire Service Sector Chief on the Long Island Infragard Members Alliance.
Joe holds a BBA in Business Management from Hofstra University.
Bryan Davis, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, leads Global Elite's sales team and special event operations in all regions across the U.S. With over 16 years of successful executive sales and marketing experience, Mr. Davis is responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with Global's diverse clientele, as well as creating marketing strategies to enhance the company's brand identity.
Mr. Davis joined Global Elite in 2011 as Director of Sales & Marketing, having previously held key management roles for the New York Islanders Hockey Club, The Hamlet Cup Men's ATP Tennis Tournament, and Contemporary Realty Solutions on Long Island.
Mr. Davis holds a B.S. degree in Business Marketing and Sports Administration from Long Island University, Southampton.
Audrey Villani joined the Global Elite team in 2008. Since then, she has been promoted and recognized for her outstanding achievements that include consistently going above and beyond her scope of responsibilities day in and day out. Her attention to detail, coupled with her ability to get things done, earned her the chance to reorganize and lead Global Elite Group's Human Resources Department.
Mrs. Villani utilizes her strong communication skills and keen understanding of human nature day in and day out when it comes to the hiring process. The Global Elite Group strives to hire only the most qualified candidates. At the end of the day, our most valuable assets are our security agents.
Coming from an educational background in Business Management, Mrs. Villani has proven to be successful in the areas of employee management, customer service and relations, inventory and cost control, procurement scheduling and management, training and compliance as well as event planning and execution.
On a personal note, her competitive spirit and love of the culinary arts has won her several notable awards.
Having grown up in Southern Africa, Jason Williams has lived in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Botswana and South Africa. He has extensive work experience throughout Africa having conducted security operations in more than 16 countries on the continent.
As a dual-national, Mr. Williams served in the British Army for a number of years, where he first began training in close protection. He was subsequently trained in close protection by Jim Devenney, Chief Instructor of British Special Air Service 22. Mr. Williams’ training focus has been in the areas of firearms, terrorism and counter-terrorism.
Over the past 15 years, Mr. Williams has provided and coordinated close protection throughout Africa for executives and employees of leading companies such as British Petroleum and Lehman Brothers. He has also coordinated security for the prestigious Contingent and Operational Procurement Exhibition (COPEX).
Mr. Williams is highly active in a number of long-term projects and operations, including the eradication of illegal gold mining. He is very much involved in efforts to resolve conflicts in Africa and has initiated a number of educational programs in the Congo to help stabilize that nation. He has started an ambulance company in South Africa and is currently working on a project to provide medical support to outlying regions of central Africa through a small helicopter program.
Mr. Williams currently lives in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A British citizen and graduate of London University with twenty years’ experience in aviation security, Malcolm Mackay is currently responsible for European operations.
Mr. Mackay enjoyed a distinguished career with the Royal Hong Kong Police, where he spent thirteen years in investigative roles, completing his service with the Commercial Crime Bureau and achieving promotion to the rank of Detective Chief Inspector. He was one of few officers ever to receive the Governor’s Commendation for outstanding leadership and detective ability, the highest police award given in Hong Kong.
After moving back to the United Kingdom, Mr. Mackay became the Director of International Airport Operations and Security for TWA. His areas of responsibility included the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Mackay has undertaken a number of long-term projects involving risk-based assessments for airlines and airports in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He is an IATA training course Director. He has served as consultant to the office of U.S. Congressman E. Markey on the subject of air cargo security and is also currently involved in the delivery of a training program to the European Investment Bank designed to assist in combating fraud and corruption.
Mr. Mackay is widely recognized as an industry professional with expert knowledge in aviation security relating to airports, airlines and air cargo. An authority on the subject of Chinese organized crime and a speaker of five languages, Mr. Mackay is married with one daughter and resides in Vienna, Austria.
Joseph D’Ascoli serves as Deputy Director of Special Operations and came to Global with a long family history of serving the security industry on a national scale.
Mr. D’Ascoli has worked throughout the U.S. for his family’s security businesses, which are based in North Carolina. He was actively involved with growing the business in the many markets the company specialized in, including telecommunications, electronic security, personnel protection and privatized police force services. His knowledge of event security, emergency response management and the deployment of security details for crowd management and control have been a wonderful addition to the growing need for highly skilled police tactics when managing events.
Mr. D’Ascoli works with Global to increase the armed emergency response deployment of professionals to meet the changing needs of clients.
Joseph A. Scarano, Jr., has had a distinguished 26-year career with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and was the first Commanding Officer to command JFK as a single commander in 30-plus years. During this time he was responsible for the law enforcement activities of 250 police resources as well as serving as liaison for 14 federal agencies for the Port Authority.
Mr. Scarano’s duties also included the arrivals and departures of dignitaries and world leaders, including the President of the United States. Prior to his service at JFK, he was assigned to LaGuardia Airport and the Lincoln Tunnel commands as a commanding officer and captain.
