William McGuire’s security leadership spotlights executive protection, emergency management and special operations services, bringing over twenty years experience to all dimensions of the industry.

With a strong foundation in state-of-the-art ground and air security as Vice President of Virgin Security Services in North America, Mr. McGuire was inspired to form Global Security Associates in 2002. The exponential success of Global Security Associates in an increasingly demanding environment led to the development of the Global Elite Group in 2009, to distribute the expanding security services in the areas of emergency management, corporate contingency consulting and planning, V.I.P. and dignitary protection services, event security, K9 detection units, crowd control and asset protection.

Global Elite Group, headquartered in Garden City, NY upholds four major security service divisions focusing on physical security services, emergency management, consulting services and aviation management. With fully staffed offices around the world including North America, South America, Asia Europe and the Middle East, over 28 U.S. and international airlines rely on Global Elite Group for the implementation and management of security protocols. Mr. McGuire has also integrated specialized technology into his management programs to authenticate airline passengers and track ground operations throughout airlines, port facilities and events with customized access control.

Mr. McGuire is an active leader in the security industry and currently serves as President of the Long Island Chapter of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s InfraGard, subsequent to his service as the organization’s executive Vice President. The Long Island Chapter is headquartered at the Morrelly Homeland Security Center in Bethpage, Long Island. InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector, comprised of businesses, academic institutions, and state and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.

Mr. McGuire’s efforts in the security industry have been recognized by Government Security News in 2009 with a disaster preparedness award for work with a healthcare facility to protect the lives of hospital personnel, patients and property after Hurricane Gustav and Ike. Global Elite Group was recognized the following year by Government Security News with a guard service award for its exceptional work in event security for a major Fortune 100 corporation. Mr. McGuire has been personally awarded two International Counter Terrorism Awards, and has been a Long Island volunteer fireman for over 22 years.

As the Senior Vice President for Global Elite Group, Phil Cain is responsible for delivering consistent and high-quality operating performance across all divisions and throughout the broad range of security services our company has to offer.

Prior to joining Global Elite Group, Phil spent 25 years in the aviation industry with a leading international carrier in various management roles across several continents. He has considerable experience and an exceptional record in the areas of safety and security, compliance, customer service delivery, project management, airport community relations and providing innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Within Global Elite Group, Phil leads a talented, knowledgeable and experienced group of department heads and ensures that we all keep safety and our unique service proposition at the forefront of all we do.

Vice President, Operations

As Vice President of Operations for Global Security Associates' Aviation Security Division, Lucia Oswald is responsible for aviation security services and international customer service programs at all of our domestic stations (including JFK, LAX, MIA, IAH, IAD, DFW, EWR and SEA).

With over thirty years of distinguished service in the aviation industry, Ms. Oswald has extensive airport operations and airline customer service experience. She has served as General Manager and Director for airlines both in the U.S. and abroad, including Maxjet Airways, Jet Airways of India, Spirit Airlines and Trans World Airlines. She served as Executive Board Member of several Airport Operators Committees and held memberships in airport sub-committees on security while working in Europe.

Mr. Swain has spent his career in operational roles in airline operations, aviation security, business continuity and emergency planning with a major United Kingdom airline. He rewrote the airline's corporate emergency procedures manual, covering all subjects relating to a company response. He has commanded the airline's response to a myriad of crises and he appreciates the need for understanding and flexibility when dealing with different cultures around the world. Mr. Swain naturally has a “safety first” mentality and fully believes safety and security can be delivered with a high level of customer service.

Director, Quality Assurance & Training

Joseph R. Nadolny has been with Global Security since 2006. Prior to becoming Director of QA & Training in 2008, he served as Manager of Human Resources & Administration, where was responsible for all HR functions of the organization during its rapid growth.


Mr. Nadolny’s responsibilities include oversight of all new hires and refresher training for all employees across all business units. In addition, he is responsible for conducting quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and company policies.

Mr. D’Ascoli has worked throughout the U.S. for his family’s security businesses, which are based in North Carolina. He was actively involved with growing the business in the many markets the company specialized in, including telecommunications, electronic security, personnel protection and privatized police force services. His knowledge of event security, emergency response management and the deployment of security details for crowd management and control have been a wonderful addition to the growing need for highly skilled police tactics when managing events.

Scarano, Jr., has had a distinguished 26-year career with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and was the first Commanding Officer to command JFK as a single commander in 30-plus years.
